Banana & Tahini Porridge

A sticky and delicious every day breakfast. Feel free to get creative with your berries! This recipe works well with blueberries too. 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 tbsp tahini 
  • 150ml almond milk
  • 100g porridge oats 
  • 2 small bananas, sliced
  • 100g raspberries 
  • 2 cardamom pods, seeded & crushed
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Method: 

  1. In a bowl, mix the tahini with 1 tbsp milk and 1 tbsp water.
  2. To a pan, add the oats, 1 sliced banana, crushed cardamom seeds, 100ml milk and 300ml water with a pinch of salt. Cook over a medium heat for 5 mins, stirring, until creamy and hot.
  3. When at your desired consistency, mix in the raspberries. 
  4. Divide between two bowls. Pour over any remaining milk, then top with the remaining sliced banana.
  5. Drizzle over the tahini mixture and sprinkle over the toasted sesame seeds.
